MASSIVE FAM previously known as Australia’s first Hip Hop Choir based in the heart of Melbourne’s West- Footscray was created by the inspirational idea of Artistic Directors Liss Gabb and Mary Quinsacara. The FAM consists of 14 highly creative young people, whose backgrounds span across more than ten nationalities; Tonga, Fiji, Cook Islands, Niue, Samoa, Lebanon, the Caribbean, North Africa, Philippines, Comoros Islands, Tanzania, England, Spain, Uganda and Ghana.
In September 2012 MASSIVE FAM had their first album launch – Neology: neo tunes for an old world – launched at the Evelyn Hotel to a packed MASSIVE hungry crowd. Neology brings you into a world of new sound presented in the growing genre of Hip Hop that is uplifting and soulful.

For the past 2 years has so far seen MASSIVE FAM members go on to be mentors on the anti-racism project- Sisters and Brothers as well as other programs through cohealth arts generator. Current members also participate in Arts Centre Melbourne’s Dig Deep youth music mentoring program and Sisters on the Mic . Most members are solo artists in their own right.
Current plans include working on a new album, new gigs for 2015 and new collaborations with Outer Urban Projects.
